Bleached denim, dip dye and colour washes have become a massive trend for SS12 thanks to the fabulous Philip Lim! The highsreet has a wide range of cheap dip-dye denim however it is much more fun to do it yourself, all you need is a bucket of bleach and an old pair of jeans/shorts!
1. Fill up a bucket with one part bleach one part water and hang your jeans or shorts from the bath tap into the bucket (half way up the denim) leave for 3-6 hours depending on how white you want your denim to turn.
2. Take out and put into the washing machine (on their own) with normal detergent and a drop of vinegar.
