Turchin - Miami Design District

Ever since I travelled to Thailand I have become obsessed with embroidery, the more colourful stitching the better! Turchin Jewellery shop in Miami Design District has a cultural influence that the Miami fashion scene is crying out for. The jewellery is so unique and precious however the bags are what excited me the most - each bag is made out of the best quality leathers and hand stitched with over 100 hours of manual craftsmanship, justifying the expensive price tag (some bags costing up to 3000 dollars)!
Turchin are looking to open a store in London soon...so watch out!

United Nude - Miami Design District

Miami Design District pays homage to the concept store. Three surprisingly quiet streets away from the usual tourist haunts are filled with quirky boutiques and stand alone designer brands.
One particular store that caught my eye was 'United Nude' a footwear brand that also has flagship stores in New York, Amsterdam and Shanghai. The open plan gallery layout is used to promote art work, 'United Nude products are about clear concepts, elegance and innovation'.

Selfridges vending machines - St Martins Lane hotel - Covent Garden

Probably the most ridiculous concept I have ever come across - The Selfridges Vending machine created by Katie Grand (LOVE magazine). Located in St Martins Lane hip hotel the vending machine boasts some of Selfridges most finest products including a Mulberry clutch and a vintage £7000 Rolex watch!

Be careful when falling out of bungalow 8 not to fall into Selfridges most ridiculous trap yet...

Britain's Next Top Model - BBC Studios - W12

Last night I watched the BBC team film the final of Britain's Next Top Model as SJ's sis was working on the show. Obviously I was not going to miss this opportunity to witness 'The Body' (Elle Macpherson) in real life, and let me tell you, she did not disappoint! Looking like a goddess in a floor length gold sequin number the models in the competition looked plain and dowdy next to their mentor. Tiffany won the competition (pretty annoyed about that as I wanted Joy to win! ) Sitting next to the fabulous swimwear designer Melissa Odabash in the audience and watching 6ft beautys parade the stage, Sam and I went home feeling a little minging!
